TV star Alexander Vlahos, known for roles in beloved BBC drama Versailles and Merlin, will star in a darkly comic, tour-de-force solo show at VAULT Festival 2022. 

Lessons for Diving by Silas Parry, directed by Matt Steinberg will be workshopped 19-24 July, with showcase on 24 July and performed by Sebastián Capitán Viveros, Patrick McNamee and Dan Wolff. This will be followed by Kristian Phillips' Drift, directed by Matt Steinberg and performed by Tom Rhys Harries, workshopped 26 – 28 July with the showcase on 28 July; and finally, Boomerang by Jack Stanley will be developed 29 – 31 July, with the showcase on 31 July, directed by Jude Christian. Showcases will be at the Jerwood Space.

Parry will receive a £6,000 commission and mentorship from chair of the judging panel, Tony Award-winning playwright Enda Walsh.

To mark this momentous occasion OETC hosted an evening of performances at Troubadour Theatre (White City) on November 1st. As well as reflecting on the success of the past twenty years, the evening looked towards the future by announcing a new script competition to be judged by multi-award-winning playwright Enda Walsh and other leading theatre industry figures.

Both are immediately linked to the city's chemsex scene but Anthony thinks something else is going on, so he sets off on a personal investigation that spans parties and intimacy in Christopher Adams' play.

Harry Lister Smith (acclaimed UK breakthrough film God's Own Country and A Woman of No Importance in the West End) is today announced as final casting in TUMULUS, a fast-paced thriller transferring to Soho Theatre from 16 April to 4 May.

Ian Hallard (The Boys in the Band, Vaudeville and Park Theatre) and Ciaran Owens (Candide, RSC) are to star in the transfer to Soho Theatre of Christopher Adams's play, TUMULUS, a fast-paced noir-style murder mystery thriller set against the backdrop of London's gay scene.

Plunging the audience into the heart of addiction, 'Check-in/Check-out' presents the performers' personal narratives of recovery and positions these stories in context next to contributing social factors.
