SHOTZ! is a theatrical pressure cooker that every month pairs 6 groups of actors, writers, and directors together to create brand new 10-minute plays and perform them the first Monday of the month at The Kraine Theater, 85 E. 4th St., NY. Unified by three common criteria, each collection of plays captures a variety of perspectives around the month's theme, and is the best, most consistent showcase of up-and-coming talent in NYC theater.

Shotz features a mix of Broadway, Off-Broadway, regional theater, and TV talent, with six new plays coming at you the first Monday of every month!

A Chorus* Shotz is an evening of mythical, magical and existential short plays... Don't worry, you have a Greek Chorus to guide you as you laugh, cry, and drink your beer!

Rules of Dionysus (aka conditions for the month):
1. Masked Greek Chorus in Every Play
2. There must be the line, "You're opening Pandora's box."
3. There must be an anagnorisis: a character has a "recognition" moment, when he or she makes a critical, life-altering discovery, taking them from ignorance to knowledge (about themselves or their situation)
