Chicago Tap Theatre has announced its 20th Anniversary Season including two productions of new and classic works, its 20th Anniversary Gala, national performances, a celebration of National Tap Dance Day and more.

When Ellen Rowe was a young girl growing up in Ridgefield, Connecticut, there weren't many women making jazz music.   Through her success as a world-renowned jazz pianist, composer and pedagogue, she's spent the better part of the last 35 years trying to change that.  

Chicago Dancemakers Forum celebrates its 15th Anniversary with robust public programming, increased grants to dancemaking artists, public showcases, and two celebratory events. During this milestone year Chicago Dancemakers Forums renews its commitment to Chicago's extraordinarily diverse dance communities with ten grants to local choreographers totaling $110,000. Cash grants are combined with mentorship and showcasing opportunities giving artists and dance-enthusiasts a lot to celebrate.

Rena Blades, President & Chief Executive Officer of the Cultural Council of Palm Beach County, today announced that the second Conversation of this season's CULTURE & COCKTAILS series attracted more than 140 people last Monday to The Colony Hotel Pavilion, located at 155 Hammon Avenue in Palm Beach.
