ALL OUT ARTS, the producer of FRESH FRUIT FESTIVAL, one of NY's premier LGBTQ arts festivals for more than two decades, is accepting submissions from NYC authors of LGBTQ-themed short works and full plays in three multi-media categories this year.

Awards are presented for Outstanding performance and technical work during the past season of the Fresh Fruit Festival. Community Awards are also presented to people and organizations who enrich the LGBT community through education, advocacy, and service.

The Fresh Fruit Festival (FFF), New York's preeminent LGBTQ summer arts celebration stands poised to be the definitive location for quality lively arts programming during the 50th Anniversary of Stonewall, this year. With this in mind, FFF will extend its deadline for submissions to the festival through Sunday night, March 17, 2019.

All-Out Arts and the acclaimed Fresh Fruit Festival will celebrate notable selections from last year's Fresh Fruit Festival. 'It was a very powerful season,' said Louis Lopardi, the executive producer of the festival. 'It's fitting for our 15th year. So many amazing works,' he continued. 'And looking forward to one of most exiting seasons to come!' he concluded.

An all-star cast chosen for Doug DeVita's Phillie Trilogy, premiering at the 2017 Fresh Fruit Festival. The festival running July 10 - 23, is celebrating 15 years this year.

W.E.B. Du Bios - writer, scholar, and one of the earliest civil rights leaders - comes to life in the New Jersey premier of W. E. B. DU BOIS: A Man for All Time, presented by Jersey City Theater Center (JCTC) on May 12th.
