On Wednesday, December 8, 2021 at 7:00pm, the International Contemporary Ensemble combines with the Wet Ink Ensemble at Target Margin Theater to present new works on themes of text, language, and syntax by Rebecka Ahvenniemi, Linda Catlin Smith, Anthony Braxton, and Eric Wubbels.

This month, Carnegie Hall is launching The Connected Musician—an interactive, self-paced video series for collegiate and early professional instrumental performers. The Connected Musician is intended to expand on musicians’ toolkits, inviting them to consider new ways to engage with audiences using a plethora of digital resources.

How can music use physical movement to convey individual and collective change? Ensemble Connect, Carnegie Hall's resident fellowship ensemble, asked and answered this question through an innovative performance in January 2020. Working with a choreographer and theater director, the musicians found that their physical movement in their performance could be used with a powerful and poignant effect that enhanced the experience of the music for themselves and for the audience.

On Friday, September 15th, 2018, Wet Ink releases Wet Ink: 20 on Carrier Records, the group's first full-length album focused on works for sinfonietta, featuring the 28 musicians of the Wet Ink Large Ensemble. The release celebrates Wet Ink's 20th Anniversary, and highlights the ethos of innovation through collaboration that has guided the work of Wet Ink throughout the ensemble's history. The album includes works by Wet Ink's four acclaimed composer members Alex Mincek, Sam Pluta, Kate Soper, and Eric Wubbels alongside music by Katherine Young and Anthony Braxton.

Lincoln Center Moments, a program for individuals with dementia and their caregivers, launches on Friday, March 17, with a performance of a Schumann piano trio featuring musicians of the New York Philharmonic. Created to bring Lincoln Center's unparalleled artistry to an intimate and supportive setting, the free performance series is designed to address the needs of the rapidly growing population affected by dementia and provide meaningful connections to the arts for an audience that may be unable to attend mainstream performances. The spring 2017 season features six performances representing genres across the Lincoln Center's campus. Participants enjoy one-hour-long chamber music, jazz, and theater performances, each followed by a one-hour, interactive workshop to share their experience with their fellow concertgoers. All programs start at 1 pm and take place at The Stanley H. Kaplan Penthouse, Frederick P. Rose Building, 10th floor, 165 West 65th Street, between Amsterdam and Broadway.

Celebrating its 35th anniversary, the Cape Cod Chamber Music Festival will present a concert open to the public for the first time in New York on Tuesday evening, April 8, 2014 at 7:45 p.m. at the DiMenna Center for Classical Music, Cary Hall, 450 West 37th Street, between Ninth and Tenth Avenues. A special orchestra-the Cape Cod Gala Orchestra, conducted by Liam Burke-has been assembled for this occasion. Noted WQXR radio announcer Jeff Spurgeon will host the evening and Nancy B. Barry, First President of the Festival, as well as Honorary Artistic Chair Charles Hamlen, V.P. of Orchestra of St. Luke's and Co-Founder of IMG Artists, will be on hand for the event.

Ensemble ACJW-an inspirational collective of young professional musicians who are fellows in a two-year program that supports them in building careers as top-quality performers, innovative programmers, and dedicated teachers-returns for its seventh year in the 2013-2014 season. Members of ACJW play music at the highest level, partner with New York City public school music teachers and classrooms throughout the school year, lead biannual residencies at Skidmore College, perform in a variety of community settings, and possess a strong commitment to professional development.
