Kimberly Hope

BIO

Kimberly Hope is a studio casting executive with an extensive history of securing sought-after talent for film and television across all platforms, streamers and networks.

Kimberly's reputation is built on the strength of her track record for creating and nurturing relationships with peers and colleagues throughout the industry, particularly as it relates to bridging highly successful, often award-winning connections between the global talent pool and creators.

Kimberly has a demonstrated commitment to nurturing the next generation of stars from all backgrounds, with a dedication to promoting meaningful inclusion through authentic representation on screen and creating opportunities for historically marginalized groups.

In May of 2020, at the height of the production shut-down due to COVID-19, Kimberly developed and oversaw the Warner Bros. TV "Actors In Training" program, a worldwide virtual open-call for collegiate level acting students whose studies were interrupted due to the pandemic. The inclusive outreach was specifically designed to not only include traditional top-tier institutions as well as programs in underserved and underrepresented communities. The inaugural "Actors In Training" initiative was an incredible success, drawing close to 7,000 participants from 400+ programs across the globe.

Prior to her studio executive roles, Kimberly began her career as an independent film and TV Casting Director based in New York, most notably casting across NBC's LAW & ORDER franchise. In this capacity, on one of the most prominent franchises in television history, Kimberly was honored to be continually adding to what has been referred to as the largest acting repertory theater in the world: the Dick Wolf Company. Her contributions led Kimberly to be named one of the "Top 25 Power Casting Directors in Film and TV" by Backstage.

On the film side, Kimberly helped to cast independent film projects which found great success on the festival circuits (Sundance, Toronto, Tribeca, etc.). Kimberly also worked on a variety of studio features, one of which led her to collaborate with the luminary director Tom Tykwer on Columbia Pictures' THE INTERNATIONAL. Another career highlight was giving an early star turn to Nate Parker alongside Richard Gere, Susan Sarandon, Tim Roth and Brit Marling in the cast of ARBITRAGE, directed by Nicholas Jarecki. Kimberly credits working with filmmakers like Jarecki, Tykwer and Ramin Bahrani early in her career as helping to solidify her love of casting as a true and vital art form.
