A beloved Atlanta holiday tradition, Madeline's Christmas will return to the stage at Horizon Theatre, December 1-30 to bring merriment and cheer to all! Families are invited to join Madeline and friends for a magical musical adaption of Ludwig Bemelmans' classic children's tale. Featuring 24 local girls performing alongside professional actors in collaboration with The Atlanta Children's Theatre Company, this show is a must-see holiday hit!

Out Front Theatre Company is proud to open its third season with the Southeastern premiere of The View UpStairs. With book, music and lyrics by Max Vernon, The View UpStairs tells the story of Wes, a young fashion designer from 2018, who buys an abandoned building in the French Quarter of New Orleans. Upon entering the space, he finds himself transported to the UpStairs Lounge, a vibrant '70s gay bar. As this forgotten community comes to life, Wes embarks on an exhilarating journey of self-exploration that spans two generations of queer history. Running October 25-Novemer 10, The View UpStairs asks what has been gained and lost in the fight for equality, and how the past can help guide all of us through an uncertain future.

The Suzi Bass Awards revealed nominations for the 2017-2018 Atlanta professional theatre season on Monday evening, August 27, to patrons and industry artists. The Suzi Nomination Party was generously hosted by Synchronicity Theatre, at 7:30pm, One Peachtree Pointe, 1545 Peachtree St. NE #102, Atlanta.

Georgia Ensemble Theatre (GET), North Fulton's only professional theatre company, continues its 24thSeason with the whimsical play, On The Verge Or The Geography of Yearning, by Eric Overmeyer at the Theatre's home in the Roswell Cultural Arts Center. This production has limited run dates for three weeks only from November 3rd  through the 20th  of 2016, with performances Wednesdays through Sundays.  Acclaimed Atlanta actor and director Carolyn Cook (Artistic Director of Theatre du Reve and Artistic Associate at the former Georgia Shakespeare) directs the production. Sponsor for this comedic safari through time is longtime GET corporate partner, Northside Hospital.
