The Women Have Something to Say, conceived by Nicole Kenley-Miller of Intersection Arts Houston and composed by Madeline Styskal, marks the fourth and final project in The Why Collective's four-show series while in residence at Nancy Manocherian's the cell theatre.

The Why Collective will present a workshop premiere of Words of the Prophets by Vayl Larkin from April 21-23, 2023, at Nancy Manocherian's the cell theatre.

The Why Collective will begin its inaugural residency with Nancy Manocherian's the cell theatre in Manhattan. You can experience the festival from February through May 2023 and share its founders' pride and excitement at this dream come true.

Nancy Manocherian's the cell theatre (Artistic Director Kira Simring) has announced their 2023 season, featuring a year of full productions, art exhibitions, developmental workshops, and over 30 resident artists.

Originally premiered in October 2021 at Time Square's open-air performance space, Anita's Way and co-created by local classical musicians Sydney Anderson, Slavina Zhelezova, and Heather Jones, the durational piece will be remounted at Nancy Mandocherian's the cell theatre overnight from 8pm April 1st - 12pm April 2nd.
