Today, International Women's Day 2022, thousands of shoppers, commuters and visitors to St. Pancras International enjoyed Lost and Found – a series of mini operas commissioned by the Royal Opera House, based on public submissions and created by all female composer and librettist teams.

Celebrate International Women's Day 2022 with the Royal Opera House and join us for free performances, behind the scenes tours and a live streamed event designed to celebrate the work of female artists, creatives, and industry leaders who have helped shape the history of opera and ballet.  

The Royal Opera will present Lost and Found: a series of brand-new, train-themed, micro-operas created by women composer and librettist teams. On Tuesday 8 March 2022, between 11am and 4pm, St. Pancras International will become a stage for the day, giving commuters the chance to enjoy stories and songs based on submissions from the public. 

This year, join the Royal Opera House for an exciting series of lunchtime recitals, performed in our opulent Crush Room by artists from The Royal Opera, Orchestra of the Royal Opera House and Jette Parker Young Artists Programme. 

Musical Theatre Network (MTN), Mercury Musical Developments (MMD) & British Youth Music Theatre (BYMT) have announced that Jordan Paul Clarke will be the Cameron Mackintosh Resident Composer on placement at BYMT commencing in January 2022.
