After four widely heralded self-released albums, Brooklyn-based singer/songwriter Jessie Kilguss is clearly on the verge of gaining the wider recognition she so decidedly deserves. Her mood-affecting melodies reflect an artist who consistently proves herself remarkably adept at expressing a wide array of interests and emotions that stir the senses through both her vocals and in her verse.

The Bushwick Book Club is thrilled to welcome special guest, Jonathan Ames, to their musical celebration of his new book, YOU WERE NEVER REALLY HERE at the Last Bookstore in Los Angeles on 4/28.

Musicambia is thrilled to announce our annual gala will take place at the Dimenna Center for Classical Music on Tuesday, May 8th at 7:30pm. Jonathan Ames's new book, YOU WERE NEVER REALLY HERE, a thriller, will be published March 20th by Vintage Books, and the movie based on the book, starring Joaquin Phoenix and directed by Lynne Ramsay, will be released April 6th, distributed by Amazon Pictures. The film won Best Actor and Best Screenplay at the 2017 Cannes Film Festival.

Since its release last March, Julie DeLano, Leslie Graves, Susan Hwang and Jessie Kilguss have been adding their lush harmonies to his NYC performances. June 13th will be their first official appearance as The Syntonics.
