'A Very Die Hard Christmas' returns to Seattle Public Theater for another holiday season of hilarious parody. Don't miss this smash hit show!

ACT Contemporary Theatre announced today the cast and creative team for their 48th production of the beloved classic, A Christmas Carol. Originally adapted for the stage in 1976 by ACT founder Gregory Falls, this season's production will see Seattle actor Darragh Kennan in the infamous role of Ebenezer Scrooge.

The returning favorite Titanish is back at Seattle Public Theater from August 10, 2023 to September 17, 2023. Penned by Jeff Schell and Ryan Dobosh with music and direction by Mark Siano, this musical from The Habit Comedy writing team is sure to have audiences laughing so hard they’ll split in half.

Titanish is a new comedy presented by Seattle Public Theater and The Habit Comedy. Conceived by director Mark Siano, creator of the new Northwest holiday classic, A Very Die Hard Christmas, Titanish is a fast-paced 80 minute parody of the three hour film. It is written by Jeff Schell and Ryan Dobosh, the team that created the hit Indy Jones and Raiders of the Last Temple of the Doomed Ark. Titanish will prove to be an unsinkable comedy.

Dear Readers, remember way back in December when the crazy minds of The Habit showed up at Seattle Public Theater with one of the most hysterical parodies ever, a?oeA Very Die Hard Xmasa??? Well I'm thrilled to tell you that they're back, this time tackling the a?oeRaiders of the Lost Arka?? movies (minus a?oeCrystal Skulla?? since that one was an abomination) and showing off how amazing they are at the lost art of satire with the brilliant a?oeIndy Jones and the Raiders of the Last Temple of the Doomed Arka??.

 Casting is announced for Seattle Shakespeare Company's free Wooden O productions of King Lear and The Merry Wives of Windsor which start performances on Thursday, July 12. Both productions will perform in park venues throughout King and Pierce Counties (please see attached schedule). This summer marks the 25th Anniversary for Wooden O productions in the parks.
