Jeffrey Scott Stevens Biography

Jeffrey Scott Stevens was born in Salt Lake City but raised in Rock Springs, Wyoming and Ogden, Utah. Jeffrey has been employed professionally as an actor since age 15. Jeffrey was heavily involved in choir and drama in Jr. High and Bonneville High School in Ogden, Utah. Jeffrey received his Equity Card through TheatrworksUSA in 2006 when he joined the cast of PAUL REVERE after graduating from Brigham Young University with a Bachelor's of Fine Arts degree.

The team assembled to develop this engaging piece in preparation for upcoming invite-only industry workshops at New York Live Arts on Thursday, July 31 and Friday, August 1, 2014. Broadway's Ashley Brown (Mary Poppins, Beauty and the Beast) and Katie Klaus (The Bridges of Madison County, Bonnie and Clyde) lead the cast.

I was a bit intrusive to my cast this evening: I went around to each cast member and stuck my voice memo recorder in their face asking them 4 on-the-spot questions about Henry Higgins. It proved to be a funny experiment as my cast mates blurted out some of their answers (I made this a timed experiment, asking each cast member to say the first answer that came to mind). As it turns out, there were a few common answers about where Higgins would live, or which celebrity he resembles. And just the same, there were some "left field" answers which were cause for a chuckle. Here are the questions I asked:

Directed and choreographed by Jeffrey Scott Stevens, who played the Ziegfeld Tenor and other ensemble roles, the music video showcases many of the cast members and was shot at various locations in Vero Beach including: the theatre's backstage area (dressing rooms, rehearsal hall), on the beach, poolside, and other locations.
