THE ROAD THEATRE COMPANY and Taylor Gilbert, Founder/Artistic Director together with Sam Anderson, Artistic Director, are thrilled to announce that the second show of its 2018-2019 season, the critically acclaimed, world premiere of DEATH HOUSE, written by Jason Karasev and directed by Michael Peretzian is EXTENDING through SATURDAY, MARCH 23 at the Road Theatre on Lankershim, 5108 Lankershim Blvd. in North Hollywood.

The Fountain Theatre will extend its critically acclaimed Los Angeles premiere of My Name is Asher Lev through May 18.

Set in Brooklyn's Hasidic Jewish community, MY NAME IS ASHER LEV is the powerful story of a young and extremely gifted painter's struggle to become an artist at any cost - against the will of his parents, community and tradition. Exploring questions of art, family, religion and loyalty, this extraordinary adaptation is a compelling look at the cost of individuality.

A young painter must reconcile his remarkable artistic gifts with the austerity and singular devotion required by his faith. Stephen Sachs directs the Los Angeles premiere of Aaron Posner's award-winning stage adaptation of Chaim Potok's acclaimed novel, My Name is Asher Lev, opening Feb. 22 at the Fountain Theatre.

Identity Productions has announced that it will extend its production of Stephen Belber's TAPE for two final performances as part of the Best of the Hollywood Fringe at the Theatre Asylum mainstage. These last two shows will run on Thursday, July 19th and Thursday, July 26th at 8pm.

The production will open tonight June 9th at ArtWorks Theatre Studio A during the Fringe Festival preview period, and run through June 22nd.

The production will open on Saturday June 9th at ArtWorks Theatre Studio A during the Fringe Festival preview period, and run through June 22nd.

Drury Lane Theatre presents Neil Simon's Tony Award-winning dramatic comedy BROADWAY BOUND, opening June 16 and running through July 31 at Drury Lane Theatre, 100 Drury Lane. BROADWAY BOUND stars Jeff Award and Drama Desk Award winner Mike Nussbaum as 'Ben' (Glengarry Glen Ross on Broadway, The Merchant of Venice at Chicago Shakespeare); Jeff Award and Sarah Siddons Award winner Carmen Roman (National Tour of Angels in America) as 'Kate,' reprising the role she played in the 2004 Peninsula Players production of BROADWAY BOUND; and multi-Jeff Award recipient and Sarah Siddons Award winner Paula Scrofano as 'Blanche' (Thoroughly Modern Millie at Drury Lane Theatre, The Most Happy Fella at Ravinia Festival, The Wizard of Oz at Chicago Shakespeare, and Sunday in the Park with George at Goodman Theatre).
