Ingrid was most recently seen on screen in the role of Mary in BLOOD on Virgin Media One, and the role of Harding alongside Brendan, Brian and Domhnall Gleeson in the short film PSYCHIC for Sky Arts. She has just completed filming the role of Eileen Pepper in David Hare's new BBC series ROADKILL, directed by Michael Keillor. Other recent screen roles include the role of Molly in FOREVER IN MY HEART , directed by Steven R. Monroe, Una in DEATH OF A LADIES MAN directed by Matt Bissonnette, Renata Werner in ENTEBBE, a feature directed by José Padilha starring Rosamund Pike and Vincent Cassel, Mark O'Rowe's feature THE DELINQUENT SEASON and the role of Mrs Stuyvesant Fish in Paramount Television's THE ALIENIST. She is also set to return to the role of Irene Kearns for series 2 of the RTÉ drama STRIKING OUT in 2018.

On stage, Ingrid most recently played the role of the Duchess of York in RICHARD III directed by Garry Hynes for Druid at the Lincoln Center, New York and Aunt Nonnie in SWEET BIRD OF YOUTH directed by Jonathan Kent at the Chichester Theatre Festival. Prior to that she played the lead role of Eileen Gray in INVITATION TO A JOURNEY, a co-production between Fishamble, CoisCeim, Crash Ensemble and the Galway International Arts Festival, directed by Jim Culleton and David Bolger.

Ingrid read English at Trinity College Dublin before joining the Abbey Theatre Company for five years, where many appearances included; the premiere of TALBOT'S BOX by Thomas Kilroy and directed by Patrick Mason (also performed at the Royal Court), the premiere of ARISTOCRATS by Brian Friel, directed by Joe Dowling with Dearbhla Molloy and Stephen Rea, the premiere of A LIFE with Cyril Cusack, (also performed at the Old Vic), MEASURE FOR MEASURE, MRS. WARREN'S PROFESSION and THE MAN WHO CAME TO DINNER with Ray McAnally.

Ingrid's work with the Abbey includes; THE DEAD by James Joyce, in a new dramatisation by Frank McGuinness, the premiere of Brian Friel’s WONDERFUL TENNESSEE directed by Patrick Mason, with Donal McCann and John Kavanagh, also on Broadway, the premiere of ARIEL by Marina Carr, and THE PLOUGH AND THE STARS, with Brendan Gleeson, directed by Garry Hynes.

More recent stage appearances include the role of Maisie Madigan in the Gate Theatre's production of JUNO AND THE PAYCOCK by Sean O'Casey, directed by Mark O'Rowe, the role of Lizaveta Bogdanovna in A MONTH IN THE COUNTRY directed by Ethan McSweeny, also at the Gate Theatre, and the role of Aunt Kate alongside Daniel Radcliffe in THE CRIPPLE OF INISHMAAN, which was directed by Michael Grandage for the Noel Coward Theatre and on Broadway.

Ingrid narrated A MIDSUMMER NIGHT'S DREAM with the RTE Concert Orchestra, and ROBERT AND CLARA for Opera Theatre Company. She also co-directed the mono opera, THE DIARY OF ANNE FRANK for Opera Theatre Company.
Awards include the Special Tribute Award at The Irish Times Irish Theatre Awards, and the Alumni Award from Trinity College Dublin for her contribution to Irish theatre.
