The Hershey Area Playhouse is bringing the witty holiday comedy A Doublewide Texas Christmas to the stage just in time for the holiday season. Sponsored by the Hershey Rotary Club and season sponsor Country Meadows, the show will run December 8, 9, and 10 at 7 pm and December 11 at 2 pm. 

In the vast realm of theatre, there are shows of all moods and temperaments to be found. Recently, it can sometimes seem difficult to find a show that prides itself on a cast of characters that inspire nothing but joy and help to convey messages of love and self-exploration. Hershey Area Playhouse is following its successful run of Love Letters with the second production of its tenth season: The Boys Next Door, written by Tom Griffin. Audiences will visit the bittersweet world of mentally challenged men living together in a group home served by a social worker whose own life is unfolding in unpredictable ways
