Alice Phoebe Lou has teamed up with hugely influential YouTube channel Majestic Casual who inspired Game of Thrones actress Maisie Williams, to collaborate in the creation of a live session of Lou's song 'Galaxies' from her most recent album Paper Castles. Today, Buckland Theatre Company has announced casting for LUV, the company's second production at PARK90 at Park Theatre. Directed by Gary Condes, Nick Barber will play Milt, Elsie Bennett will play Ellen and Charles Dorfman will play Harry. Written by Murray Schisgal (best known for co-writing the screenplay for Tootsie), LUV premiered on Broadway in 1964 directed by Mike Nichols and was Tony nominated for Best Play and Best Author. LUV will play at PARK90 from 8 Decemberuntil 7 January with an official press night on 13 December.

Artistic Director Carey Perloff announced today four of the seven productions that will comprise the lineup of the company's 50th subscription season, which will open in September 2016 with the 2015 Olivier Award-winning Best New Play, King Charles III, a coproduction with Seattle Repertory Theatre and Shakespeare Theatre Company in Washington, DC; the world-premiere theatrical adaptation of Khaled Hosseini's (The Kite Runner) best-selling novel A Thousand Splendid Suns, featuring a live score by acclaimed musician David Coulter; the acclaimed new play, John, by Pulitzer Prize-winning playwright Annie Baker; and Battlefield, Peter Brook and Marie-Helene Estienne's intimate new interpretation and staging of Brook's groundbreaking production of The Mahabharata. The additional three productions-along with performances order and run dates-will be announced at a later date.
Following the recent 15th birthday celebrations for MAMMA MIA! in London, there will be major cast changes from Monday 9 June 2014. Rebecca Lock will be joining the cast as Rosie, Alasdair Harvey as Harry, Charles Daish as Bill and Alice Stokoe as Sophie Sheridan and Lloyd Green as Sky. Also joining the cast from 9 June will be Rosanna Bates as Ali, Brodie McBride as Lisa, James Alexander Gibbs as Pepper and James Alan-Evans as Eddie. Dianne Pilkington will continue to star as Donna Sheridan, with Kim Ismay as Tanya and Richard Trinder as Sam. At certain performances, the role of Donna Sheridan will be played by Shona White.
