Four symphonic orchestras, a major heritage museum and one of Los Angeles' leading performing arts centers will join forces in 2020 for an ambitious collaborative initiative that will bring to life the sounds of music once lost.

Legendary entertainer Dick Van Dyke, who won a Tony Award for his role in Bye Bye Birdie, is now an 'honorary lawyer.'  While he never played a lawyer in any of his major TV, film or Broadway roles, he is now among a prestigious group of lawyers and judges who make music together.  Founder-Conductor Gary S. Greene, Esq., an attorney for more than four decades, awarded Van Dyke honorary membership in the Los Angeles Lawyers Philharmonic at the orchestra's 8th Annual Concert Extraordinaire on Sunday, June 11, 2017 at UCLA Royce Hall. 

Proclaimed by the City of Los Angeles as "LA's Only Legal Orchestra," the Los Angeles Lawyers Philharmonic was founded by attorney/conductor Gary S. Greene.  The orchestra held its first rehearsal on January 19, 2009 with 30 legal musicians_and performed its debut concert on January 30, 2009. Since then, the orchestra has grown to 75 members and performed more than 40 concerts, raising more than tens of thousands of dollars to benefit those who cannot afford legal services and for other charitable purposes.

?Lawyers and judges, who are more commonly heard in the courtroom, will be on the stage of Walt Disney Concert Hall making music together in perfect harmony while raising funds for those who cannot afford legal services. Founder-Conductor Gary S. Greene, Esq. will lead the Los Angeles Lawyers Philharmonic and its chorus, Legal Voices, dubbed "LA's Only Legal Orchestra & Chorus," in their 7th Annual Concert Extraordinaire on Saturday evening, June 18 at Disney Hall (111 S. Grand Avenue, Los Angeles 90012). The Sherman Brothers' memorable Disney music and works by composers Aaron Copland and Leonard Bernstein will highlight the evening, with Legendary Songwriter Richard M. Sherman as a special guest.

Lawyers and judges who are talented musicians of the LA Lawyers Philharmonic will join celebrity guests to make beautiful music in harmony to help veterans and homeless families today, March 3rd, 2016 at 7:30 pm.  With selections from South Pacific and Guys & Dolls, this fabulous 'pops' concert supports Salvation Army charities (Westwood Transitional Village, Bessie & David Pregerson Child Development Center & GrowGood urban farm).

Greene, Esq. will perform a Festive Concert on Saturday evening, November 15, at 7:30 pm, at Wilshire United Methodist Church, 4350 Wilshire Boulevard, Los Angeles. This concert is perfect for the entire family.

This past week, the LA Lawyers Philharmonic and Legal Voices held their 5th Annual Concert Extraordinaire at Disney Hall. The concert was hosted by Bill Handel, Esq., and produced by Executive Director Debra Marisa Greene Kaiser. Under the direction of Gary S. Greene, Esq.

The Jr. Philharmonic Orchestra was the dream and creation of one man, Dr. Ernst Katz, who dedicated his life to young people in music.
