Bennack, Jr., the executive vice chairman and former CEO of Hearst and the current chairman of The Paley Center for Media, who will be joined in conversation with CBS This Morning anchor Gayle King, to commemorate the publication of his forthcoming memoir Leave Something on the Table: And Other Surprising Lessons for Success in Business and in Life. NewYork-Presbyterian held its annual Amazing Kids, Amazing Care Dinner on Thursday, October 25 at Cipriani 25 Broadway in Manhattan to celebrate the exceptional care provided at NewYork-Presbyterian Morgan Stanley Children's Hospital and the Sloane Hospital for Women. NewYork-Presbyterian Trustee and Hearst President and CEO Steven R. Swartz, and his wife Tina, served as trustee co-chairs of the evening's event, which raised over $1,000,000 in support of both NewYork-Presbyterian Morgan Stanley Children's Hospital and the Sloane Hospital for Women.

Lincoln Center's Spring Gala took place on Monday, April 11, at Rose Hall at Jazz at Lincoln Center. Steven A. Kandarian and MetLife were honored. There were 470 guests and nearly $3 million was raised. Since 1997, MetLife's sponsorship of Live From Lincoln Center has been instrumental to the series' success, and has enabled Lincoln Center to bring this program to hundreds of millions of people across the nation, building new audiences for the arts.

Lincoln Center for the Performing Arts (LCPA) raised a record $10.4 million last night at its Spring Gala honoring Hearst Corporation, as announced by Katherine Farley, chair of Lincoln Center. The event, attended by more than 500 people, lauded Hearst President and CEO Steven R. Swartz, and Executive Vice-chairman and former CEO, Frank A. Bennack, Jr. for the enormous and varied contributions to Lincoln Center made by them as well as by their company. Both men serve on Lincoln Center's Board of Directors; Mr. Bennack was chairman of Lincoln Center from 2005 through 2010, and Mr. Swartz is currently chairman of Lincoln Center's Corporate Fund.
