Classic Spring is delighted to announce that Stephen Fry, Frank McGuinness, Franny Moyle and Merlin Holland will give pre-show talks before evening performances of A Woman of No Importance at the Vaudeville Theatre this autumn.

The UK premiere of TERROR, a thrilling courtroom drama by Ferdinand von Schirach, directed by Artistic Director Sean Holmes and designed by Olivier Award-winner Anna Fleischle, arrives at the Lyric Hammersmith 14 June for a 22 June 2017 opening. The Lyric Hammersmith today is pleased to announce the full casting for the UK premiere of Ferdinand von Schirach's thrilling courtroom drama Terror, directed by Artistic Director Sean Holmes and designed by Olivier Award-winner Anna Fleischle.

To commemorate and celebrate the life of Ian Charleson, The Sunday Times and the National Theatre collaborate annually to present these awards for outstanding performances anywhere in the UK by actors under the age of thirty in a classical role - defined as one in a play written before 1918.

Emma Fielding will play the title role of Emma Bovary in The Massive Tragedy of Madame Bovary! this spring. The production which will open at the Everyman from 5 to 27 February will then play at co-producing partners Bristol Old Vic, Nuffield, Southampton and Royal & Derngate, Northampton. Joining Fielding will be John Nicholson and Javier Marzan of Peepolykus and Jonathan Holmes who have the unenviable challenge of playing all the remaining roles in Flaubert's epic tale.

Polly Adams, Emma Fielding, Adam James and Shannon Tarbet join Emilia Fox in Rapture, Blister, Burn, Gina Gionfriddo's witty dissection of gender politics.

Martin Crimp returned to the Royal Court with his new work, 'Republic Of Happiness' which Dominic Cooke directs in the Jerwood Theatre Downstairs. Described as a "violent satire", the production opened on December 6 and features Anna Calder-Marshall, Emma Fielding, Seline Hizli, Ellie Kendrick, Stuart McQuarrie, Paul Ready, Michelle Terry, and Peter Wight.

A statement from the producers said: “Two years ago, originating producer Michael Alden was ready to put the play on and the film came along and blocked its path. At the start of this year, we believed that enough time had passed between the film and our opening. This clearly was not the case. We are extremely proud of what we have accomplished. It is a production of genuine quality that has been critically and publicly acclaimed across the board.'

As Playful Productions and Michael Alden previously announced, THE KING'S SPEECH will open tonight, 27 March, at Wyndham's Theatre.

It was a smash-hit movie starring Colin Firth, Geoffrey Rush and Helena Bonham Carter, and draws on a royal true story. Emma Fielding would be forgiven for feeling a little intimidated about playing Elizabeth, Duchess of York, eventual Queen, and then Queen Mother.

Playful Productions and Michael Alden have announced that the of UK tour of THE KING'S SPEECH will transfer to Wyndham's Theatre on 22 March, with an opening night on 27 March. This announcement confirms rumours reported on Broadway World over the past two weeks. The production will also be opening on Broadway in Fall 2012. The world premier production of the original play by David Seidler took place on Friday 10 February at Guildford's Yvonne Arnaud Theatre and continues on tour around the UK until 17 March.

Playful Productions and Michael Alden Productions present the world premier production of the original play of The King's Speech by David Seidler, who wrote The King's Speech as a play before it became a film for which he won both the Academy Award© and BAFTA for Best Screenplay. The production is currently touring the UK.

As previously reported, the original play of The King's Speech by David Seidler will be brought to the stage next year in a production directed by Adrian Noble. According to The Daily Mail, Joss Ackland, Ian McNeice and Emma Fielding have joined the production as George V, Winston Churchill and the Queen Mother.
