Grassroots #FringeIsFunny movement aims to highlight all of the excellent comedy offerings at this year's Toronto Fringe Festival with over 30 exciting new comedies running from July 6-17 at various stages across the city. 

The Saints & Sinners LGBTQ Literary Festival returns for its 18th conference to be held online March 11-14, 2021. As in past years, the virtual SASFest will also include literary discussions, writing workshops, readings, and special events, all via Zoom or YouTube.

The Tennessee Williams & New Orleans Literary Festival returns to its home in the historic French Quarter for its 34th annual celebration of contemporary literature, culture, theater, and the works of Tennessee Williams. More than a typical book festival, TWNOLF showcases award-winning writers, actors, musicians, and other artists in over 150 events in the French Quarter and other New Orleans venues.

UCSB's Department of Theater and Dance and B Scott Dance present Boys Like Us, a one-piece dance concert directed and choreographed by Brandon Whited. Performances are at 8 pm, Thursday through Saturday, October 24-26, 2019 in UCSB's Hatlen Theater. There will be a pre-show panel discussion Thursday, October 24, and a post-show Q&A Friday, October 25. The approximate runtime is 40 minutes.

First Run Features is proud to announce the Los Angeles premiere of In the Land of Pomegranates, directed by Academy Award-nominated filmmaker Hava Kohav Beller.The film opens at Laemmle's Music Hall on March 16, 2018. Director Hava Kohav Beller will be present for Q&As opening weekend.
