Six decades ago, Carnegie Hall bore witness to a musical revolution as the vibrant sounds of Bossa Nova's budding Brazilian talents graced its stage for the very first time. That pivotal moment, rich with cultural significance, ignited a musical movement that would shape the course of history.
A showcase of Eliane’s sensuous Portuguese vocals, Quietude arrives after two brilliant recordings that reveal what an adventurous, multifaceted artist she is. 2019’s Love Stories featured soft-focused classic songs and originals mostly sung in English and arranged with full orchestral momentum.
Blue Curtain, presented in co-operation with the Princeton Recreation Dept., presents a free double bill featuring Freckle Legend and Casuarina on Saturday, July 13 at Pettoranello Gardens Amphitheater, Route 206 and Mountain Avenue. The concert begins at 7:00 PM.

The basic ingredient of his music is Samba, Brazil's cultural own. While singing in Portuguese, Bosco makes you feel that the sound of his words are as important as their meaning.

One of the most influential movements of Brazilian popular music, which has revealed great names such as Vinicius de Moraes, Tom Jobim and Joao Gilberto, gives the rhythm to the musical 'Garota De Ipanema, O Musical Da Bossa Nova', which premieres September 22 Teatro Opus, at Shopping Villa Lobos, in Sao Paulo. The show has stories and images that represent the whole history of Bossa Nova and its importance for Brazilian music. Project of Aventura Entertainment, directed by Sergio Modena and musical direction by Delia Fischer, brings great names of the musical scene.
