​​​​​​​La Femme Theatre Productions will illuminate the Off-Broadway stage this season with an evocative 21 st century production of Tennessee Williams's timeless masterpiece, The Night of the Iguana.

La Femme Theatre Productions has revealed the full cast of Tennessee Williams's 'The Night of the Iguana' directed by Emily Mann.

Penguin Rep Theatre will present Incident at Our Lady of Perpetual Help, a new comedy set in the era of bell bottoms, cassette tapes and landline phones by Katie Forgette, directed by Thomas Caruso, June 23 through July 16.

Bechdel Project and Ensemble Studio Theatre will present the world premiere reading of Jeanne Dorsey's play, THE KIT: MADE BY MARTHA, directed by Jackson Gay (Transfers by Lucy Thurber - Off-Broadway Alliance Best New Play Award), on May 7th (3pm) and 8th (7pm) in New York City; part of the Alfred P. Sloan 2023 First Light Festival.

Theater for the New City will present the world premiere of Not About Me, written and directed by acclaimed playwright Eduardo Machado. Not About Me will begin previews Friday January 13th with Opening Night set for Wednesday January 18th.

Penguin Rep Theatre announced today the Off-Broadway premiere of Mr. Parker, a new play written by Michael McKeever and directed by Joe Brancato. Performances will begin Wednesday, June 1, 2022, for a limited engagement through June 25, 2022, at Theatre Row – Theatre 1 (410 West 42nd Street). Opening Night is Monday, June 6, 2022, at 7:00PM.

Theatre for a New Audience opened their 2021-2022 season with the New York premiere of Will Eno's Gnit (October 30 - November 21, 2021), a reimagining of Peer Gynt directed by Eno's frequent collaborator Oliver Butler that had four preview performances at the Polonsky Shakespeare Center before being shuttered due to the pandemic.

Theatre for a New Audience (TFANA; Jeffrey Horowitz, Founding Artistic Director) will present the New York premiere of celebrated American playwright Will Eno's Gnit, inspired by Henrik Ibsen's Peer Gynt (originally published in 1867). Directed by Eno's frequent collaborator, the Obie and Lortel Award-Winner Oliver Butler (Eno's 2014 The Open House and the 2018 revival of Thom Paine (based on nothing), starring Michael C. Hall, both at Signature Theater, and 2019's The Plot at Yale Rep; Heidi Schreck's Tony Award-nominated What the Constitution Means to Me).

La MaMa is proud to present the world premiere of All My Fathers, a new tragicomedy by Paul David Young (Faust 3: The Turd Coming, or The Fart of the Deal; Clown Play; In the Summer Pavilion) that centers on the life-changing declaration by Young's elderly mother that he is the bastard son of the family pediatrician.
