EXPO CHICAGO, the international exposition of contemporary & modern art, today announced the list of exhibitors for the tenth anniversary edition, April 13-16, 2023 at Navy Pier's Festival Hall (600 E. HBO documentary Icahn: the Restless Billionaire, directed by Bruce David Klein, explores the fascinating contradictions at the heart of the famed financier, Carl Icahn. Amassing close to $20 billion dollars and at the forefront of some of the most legendary business deals of our times, Icahn, is often referred to as the “Lone Wolf of Wall Street.'

The film will reportedly begin following the death of Minnelli's mother, Judy Garland. It will then follow Minnelli on her rise to fame, beginning in the 1970s, and chronicling her various accolades, including an Oscar for best actress (Cabaret), an Emmy for best TV special (Liza with a Z), and a Tony for best actress in a musical (The Act).

David R. Jimenez, President of the Board of Directors of Hartford Stage, and incoming Artistic DirectorMelia Bensussen have announced the appointment of Cynthia Rideras Managing Director of the Tony Award-winning theatre. Rider, who previously served as Executive Director of the Oregon Shakespeare Festival, will assume the role in July. She takes over the position from Michael Stotts, who departed from the theatre in January.

Pushing the sonic boundaries of a conventional soul band, the group creates immersive, textured soundscapes, built with elements of hip-hop, funk, R&B, gospel and neo-soul. Claiming the coveted Theatrical Award for best cinematography in a motion picture, Łukasz Żal, PSC took home the American Society of Cinematographers (ASC) Award for his work on “Cold War.” Giorgi Shvelidze took the Spotlight Award for “Namme.” In the TV categories, winners included Adriano Goldman, ASC, ABC, BSC for “The Crown”; Jon Joffin, ASC for “Beyond”; and James Friend, BSC for “Patrick Melrose.” The 33 rd ASC Awards gala took place tonight in the Ray Dolby Ballroom at Hollywood & Highland, with Ben Mankiewicz from TCM taking his second turn as host.

The American Society of Cinematographers today announced the nominees for all five competitive categories of the 33rd Annual ASC Outstanding Achievement Awards. 

Jennifer Jewell's 'Raison d'etre: an Evening of Pirandello,' adapted from selected works by Nobel Prize Laureate for Literature and Italian dramatist, novelist, poet, and writer Luigi Pirandello runs through September 29th. Performances take place at Theatre 71 at Blessed Sacrament from September 20-23 (September 20th Opening Night) and 25-29, 2018 at 7:00pm.

Michigan couple Kateri and Jay Schwandt are the parents of 13 children, all boys, ranging in ages from 25 to two years old.
