Casting has been announced for the 11th annual 48Hours in…Harlem”. Harlem9, the producing collective responsible for the OBIE Award-Winning “48Hours in…Harlem”, “48Hours in…El Bronx”, “48Hours in…Detroit”, “48Hours in…Dallas,” and “48Hours in…Holy Ground”, is back in person in Harlem after three years away. 

Austin’s oldest film festival and premiere LGBTQ+ film fest of the Southwest, aGLIFF announced the Opening Night and five additional films for the 35th annual festival PRISM 35 taking place in-person August 24–28, 2022 in Austin. The annual event will celebrate in-person throughout the vibrant city of Austin with screenings, events, Q&As and more.

The second annual Write It Out! program for writers living with HIV will stream performances of students' work during a final sharing on Wednesday, December 1 at 7pm ET.

59E59 Theaters welcomes the world premiere of HOW TO LOAD A MUSKET, written by Talene Monahon and directed by Jaki Bradley. Produced by Less Than Rent Theatre, HOW TO LOAD A MUSKET begins performances on Saturday, January 11 for a limited engagement through Sunday, January 26. Press Opening is Thursday, January 16 at 7:30 pm. The performance schedule is Tuesday - Friday at 7:30 pm; Saturday at 2:30 pm & 7:30 pm; Sunday at 2:30 pm. ABC Talent and Casting will present the 2019 ABC Discovers: New York Talent Showcase, TUESDAY, SEPT. 17, at the New World Stages – Stage 2, in New York City. Part of Walt Disney Television's ongoing commitment to creating opportunities for undiscovered talent, the showcase features selected participants performing in a one-night showcase for casting directors, talent agents, managers and other industry professionals. In addition, the selected showcase actors are awarded a one-year mentorship with executives from ABC Casting. As part of the mentorship, the showcase actors will be offered on-camera workshops specifically for them to further hone their craft and auditioning skills. Talent will also have access to various ABC executives.
