MGM+, a premium linear channel and streaming service, announced it has picked up the science-fiction mystery thriller and love story Beacon 23, based on the best-selling book by Hugh Howey. Zak Penn (Ready Player One, Free Guy) created the series, and executive produced along with Glen Mazzara (The Walking Dead, The Shield).

Just recently, I had the pleasure of interviewing editor Eric Litman about his newest series, The Hot Zone: Anthrax. Litman is best known for his work for Marvel on Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D., as well as Black Sails, Magnum P.I., and Charmed. Currently Eric is an editor on Star Trek: Picard, a continuation of the series Star Trek: The Next Generation.

The fourth and final season of The Man in the High Castle, premiering Friday, November 15, will be rocked by war and revolution. The Resistance becomes a full-blown rebellion, driven by Juliana Crain's (Alexa Davalos) visions of a better world. A new Black insurgent movement emerges to fight the forces of Nazism and imperialism. As empires teeter, Chief Inspector Takeshi Kido (Joel De La Fuente) will find himself torn between his duty to his country and the bonds of family. Meanwhile, Reichsmarschall John Smith (Rufus Sewell) will be drawn towards the portal the Nazis have built to another universe, and the tantalizing possibility of stepping through a gateway to the path not taken.

Amazon Prime Video today announced that the fourth and final season of the Emmy Award-winning series The Man in the High Castle will premiere this fall. The final season is currently being filmed in Vancouver and will wrap next month.

On Friday, October 5, Amazon Prime Video will premiere season three of the Emmy Award-winning Prime Original series The Man in the High Castle. Prime Video has released the official trailer for the new season, which features up and coming Berlin-based artist Lxandra's reimagining of U2's hit song 'Pride (In the Name of Love).' This is the first time that U2 has allowed 'Pride (In the Name of Love)' to be covered and used commercially. Lxandra's cover will be available for purchase on Amazon Prime Music and other digital music services.

Amazon today announced it has greenlit a third season of the original dramatic series THE MAN IN THE HIGH CASTLE .

STRIKE BACK: ORIGINS begins its six-episode run TONIGHT, OCT. 25 (10:00-10:50 p.m. ET/PT) on CINEMAX, marking the first time the series will be seen in the United States. Stage and screen star Patrick Stewart stars in the Royal Shakespeare Company production of THE MERCHANT OF VENICE, directed by Rupert Goold. Set in Las Vegas, the production runs through October 4.
