The 2023 Lower East Side Film Festival (“LESFF”) will host a special 30th-anniversary screening of Richard Linklater's, 1993 cult classic, “Dazed and Confused” with live commentary from comedians, Jordan Carlos (The Nightly Show with Larry Wilmore) and Phoebe Robinson (HBO's 2 Dope Queens, Everything's Trash) on Friday, May 5 at the Village East Cinema with a 9 pm showtime in Mystery Science Theater 3000 style.

According to Variety, Walt Disney Studios is working on a jukebox-style movie musical featuring the music of Lionel Richie. The film tentatively shares the name of one of Richie's best-known hits, 'All Night Long.'

Deadline reports that Cavalry Media will develop a television series out of Bloodleaf, a YA fantasy novel by Crystal Smith.

The CINEMAX drama series WARRIOR begins its ten-episode season FRIDAY, APRIL 5 (10:00-11:00 p.m. ET/PT), it was announced today by Kary Antholis, president, HBO Miniseries and CINEMAX Programming. Filmed in Cape Town, South Africa, the show is based on writings of martial arts legend Bruce Lee, and created and executive produced by Jonathan Tropper (CINEMAX's 'Banshee') under Tropper Ink Productions and Justin Lin on behalf of Perfect Storm Entertainment.

The CINEMAX drama series JETT begins its nine-episode season this June, it was announced today by Kary Antholis, president, HBO Miniseries and CINEMAX Programming. The show is created, written, directed and executive produced by Sebastian Gutierrez ('Gothika').
