Daniel was most recently seen originating the role of Professor Crutch in the Off-Broadway show, Medicine The Musical, as well as Stompanato in Screeching Weasel‘s Punk Rock Opera, Baby Fat, at LaMama Theater in NYC. Previous credits include: Roger in Rent (North American Tour), Radames and Zoser cover in Elton John & Tim Rice‘s AIDA (North American, China, and Taiwan Tours), Miss Saigon (North American Tour), Sunset Boulevard – Regional Premiere starring Stefanie Powers (Ogunquit Playhouse), Chuck Cranston in Footloose (Tuacahn), and Judas in Jesus Christ Superstar (La Comedia). Dan is also the lead singer and bassist for the punk/pop band SugarDust (facebook.com/SugarDustBand) and The Kid & The Riff Raff. He is a proud alumni of Wright State University in Dayton, Ohio and The American Musical and Dramatic Academy.

Featuring characters with names like Rudy the Voice, Eddie Mush, Jojo the Whale and Frankie Coffeecake, this musical adaptation of Palminteri's acclaimed movie, later made into a one-man Broadway play in which Palminteri also starred, pits the young Calogero (Trey Murphy) in a tug of war between his upstanding blue collar Dad, Lorenzo (American Idol winner Nick Fradiani), and the flashy mob boss Sonny (Jeff Brooks) whom the newly dubbed a?oeCa?? idolizes.
