Training: Arts Educational School. Theatre includes: in the West End, Kansa in Gypsy, Chichester Theatre, Oompa Loompa, Charlie and the Chocolate Factory, Original World Cast. The Mad Hatter, Shrek the Musical, Original London Cast, alternate Teen Angel in Grease (Piccadilly). Also, Betwixed! (New Ambassadors), Chess in Concert (Royal Albert Hall), Aladdin, Snow White and Peter Pan (Hammond Productions) and Dick Whittington (Qdos Entertainment).

Artistic Director of The Old Vic Matthew Warchus, composer and lyricist Tim Minchin, choreographer Peter Darling, and designer Rob Howell, four of the creators of the international musical sensation Matilda The Musical, have joined forces with writer Danny Rubin to collaborate on a new musical based on his 1993 hit film GROUNDHOG DAY. It previews from Monday 11 July 2016 with a press night on Tuesday 16 August 2016.

The world premiere of GROUNDHOG DAY has been delayed because of the 'technical requirements' involved in the production.  Previews are now postponed until 15 July with an opening night of 16 August.

As BroadwayWorld previously reported, plans have been underway for the BBC to film the London production of Gypsy this month, and now the news is official. According to the theatre's official Facebook page, equipment is in place to record the show for a later broadcast .

Jonathan Kent's five-star production of Gypsy starring Imelda Staunton as Rose will have its final performance on 28 November 2015 as previously announced.   Having smashed the all time box office record at the Savoy Theatre and subsequently recouped, Kent's production originally opened at the Chichester Festival Theatre in October last year.  Following a second set of five-star reviews, producers Michael Harrison and David Ian announced an extension to the West End run in April.

Producers Michael Harrison and David Ian today announce that Jonathan Kent's 5 star production of Gypsy starring Imelda Staunton has smashed the all time box office record at the Savoy Theatre taking £408,300 for performances ending 25 April 2015. Harrison and Ian said: 'We are thrilled that this amazing record has been achieved in the 1089 seat Savoy Theatre and are delighted that we have been able to extend our run through November this year.'

Jonathan Kent's critically acclaimed production of Gypsy starring Imelda Staunton as the indomitable Rose today announces an extension to the run at the Savoy Theatre with booking now to 28 November 2015. Gypsy opened in the West End last night, Tuesday 15 April 2015 at the Savoy Theatre, London. Directed by Jonathan Kent with book by Arthur Laurents, Gypsy has music by Jule Styne, lyrics by Stephen Sondheim suggested by the memoirs of Gypsy Rose Lee, choreography by Stephen Mear, designs by Anthony Ward, musical direction and orchestration by Nicholas Skilbeck, lighting by Mark Henderson and sound by Paul Groothuis.
