On Monday, September 29, award-winning actor Ron Perlman took to the green to once again host the SAG Foundation's 2nd annual New York Golf Classic, which was held at the Trump National Golf Club in Westchester, NY. Like last year, the event was a benefit for the Foundation's Catastrophic Health Fund and Assistance programs, supporting performers facing life-threatening illnesses and severe economic hardship.

The Screen Actors Guild Foundation is excited to announce award-winning actor and SAG Foundation Board Member Ron Perlman will return to host their 2nd Annual New York Golf Classic on Monday, September 29 at the Trump National Golf Club in Westchester.

On Monday, October 7th, the Screen Actors Guild Foundation raised over $130,000 for its Catastrophic Health Fund and Assistance programs at its inaugural New York Golf Classic at Trump National Golf Club in Westchester, NY. Actor and SAG Foundation Board Member Ron Perlman hosted the first New York tournament benefitting performers facing life-threatening illnesses and severe economic hardship. Tonight, Sunday September 7, 2008 Rent will close at the Nederlander Theatre after the evening performance after playing 5,124 performances and 16 previews. On Friday, September 5th, in celebration of Rent and the enduring memory of Jonathan Larson, Kathy 'Life' Kirkpatrick, owner of East Village's fabled Life Café, a favorite hangout of Larson and an important location featured in the musical itself, unveiled a special dedicated bench in his name.

On August 7th, Christopher J. Hanke--last seen on Broadway in In My Life--will take on the role of Mark Cohen in the Broadway production of Rent

Will Chase will join the cast of Rent, playing Roger from December 26th through January 29th
