Ron Perlman to Host SAG Foundation's 2nd Annual New York Golf Classic

The Screen Actors Guild Foundation is excited to announce award-winning actor and SAG Foundation Board Member Ron Perlman will return to host their 2nd Annual New York Golf Classic on Monday, September 29 at the Trump National Golf Club in Westchester.

The New York Golf Classic is a major fundraiser that brings together celebrities and executives, from the entertainment industry and beyond, to raise vital funds for the SAG Foundation's Catastrophic Health Fund and Assistance Programs benefiting SAG-AFTRA performers and their families. Presenting sponsor Integrated Wealth Management has signed on for the second year after sponsoring the inaugural New York Golf Classic in 2013.

Ron Perlman, a Golden Globe winning actor with starring roles in Hellboy, Drive, Pacific Rim and Sons of Anarchy, has traveled an offbeat path to showbiz success. As told in his memoir, EASY STREET (the Hard Way), in stores September 30, his tale demonstrates the power of persistence.

"I remember how tough the tough times were and how grateful I would have been if someone had offered me a leg up. It's why the work of the SAG Foundation really resonates with me. It's an important organization that steps up when my sisters and brothers need it most," said Ron Perlman. "I'm honored to host this tournament again.
