Photo Flash: Ron Perlman, Richard Kind and More Raise $130K at SAG Foundation's NY Golf Classic

On Monday, October 7th, the Screen Actors Guild Foundation raised over $130,000 for its Catastrophic Health Fund and Assistance programs at its inaugural New York Golf Classic at Trump National Golf Club in Westchester, NY. Actor and SAG Foundation Board Member Ron Perlman hosted the first New York tournament benefitting performers facing life-threatening illnesses and severe economic hardship. Perlman was joined by celebrity players and SAG Foundation supporters including Dan Lauria, Dane DeHaan, Carmine Giovinazzo, Alysia Reiner, David Basche, Ben Bailey, Erik LaRay Harvey, Richard Kind, James McDaniel, James McCaffrey, Joe Grifasi, Jace Alexander, Lee Mazzilli, Leon Addison Brown, Michael O'Keefe, Kevin O'Rourke, Ann Liguori, D'Monroe, Alan Kalter and Stephanie Szostak.
The tournament concluded with dinner and an awards ceremony. Ron Perlman presented prizes and trophies to top teams and players. The first place net team went to FX, which included celebrity player Carmine Giovinazzo. The evening culminated with an announcement by presenting sponsor Integrated Wealth Management that will guarantee a second annual New York Golf Classic.
On the heels of the New York Golf Classic, the SAG Foundation will open a brand new, state-of-the-art New York Actors Center at Lincoln Center in early 2014. The New York Actors Center will include a voice-over lab, computer lab, classroom and office space to house the SAG Foundation's rapidly expanding, no-cost programming for the New York-based performance community.Photo Credit: Theo Wargo / Getty Images for the SAG Foundation
