Bechdel Project and Ensemble Studio Theatre will present the world premiere reading of Jeanne Dorsey's play, THE KIT: MADE BY MARTHA, directed by Jackson Gay (Transfers by Lucy Thurber - Off-Broadway Alliance Best New Play Award), on May 7th (3pm) and 8th (7pm) in New York City; part of the Alfred P. Sloan 2023 First Light Festival.

Ensemble Studio Theatre and The Alfred P. Sloan Foundation announced today that the World Premiere of what you are now by Sam Chanse (Fruiting Bodies), directed by Steve Cosson (Whisper House), and co-presented by The Civilians (Steve Cosson, Artistic Director), will now begin previews on Wednesday March 9, 2022, out of an abundance of caution for the health and safety of both the production and audiences.

Lynne Meadow (Artistic Director) and Barry Grove (Executive Producer) are pleased to announce the complete casting for the world premiere of Continuity, the new play by Lortel and Drama Desk Award nominee Bess Wohl (Small Mouth Sounds, American Hero) and directed by Tony Award nominee Rachel Chavkin (Hadestown; Natasha, Pierre & The Great Comet of 1812). 11th Annual Henry Awards Nominees Announced!

The Colorado Theatre Guild's 11th Annual Henry Awards will take place Monday, July 18, 2016 at the PACE Center, 20000 Pikes Peak Avenue in Parker, Colorado. The evening begins at 6 p.m. with cocktails and the awards ceremony will begin at 7 p.m., followed by an after-party. Tickets are $23 for CTG members (limit 2 per person online with the code Henry2016), $30 non-members or $50 VIP. Tickets go on sale June 20 through the PACE Center website, parkerarts.org, or by calling the box office at 303-805-6800.

In response to popular demand, Labyrinth Theater Company extends the New York premiere of The Way West by Mona Mansour to April 10. The production, which opened on March 16, is directed by Labyrinth Artistic Director Mimi O'Donnell and features Labyrinth Company Member and Obie award-winner Deirdre O'Connell. The Way West is a new, offbeat comedy about life and debt. The production must close on the 10th.
