TheatreWorks Silicon Valley presents the Northern California premiere of Archduke. Written by Pulitzer Prize finalist Rajiv Joseph, Archduke explores how one man, one moment, can derail an entire century. Focusing on the cataclysmic 1914 assassination of Archduke Franz Ferdinand in Sarajevo, three hapless insurgents embark on a darkly comic quest for immortality and purpose, unaware that their actions will launch World War I.

LA STAGE Alliance has announced this year's LA Stage Talks, a series of panel discussions moderated by LA STAGE Alliance CEO Terence McFarland, exploring various aspects of the creation of performing arts in the Southern California region. The premiere event, co-hosted by Southern California Public Radio KPCC, will take place tonight, March 19 from 7:00-8:30pm, at the Crawford Family Forum in Pasadena.

From composer and lyricist Ben Toth and Sam Forman and book writer Jeff Arch, Sleepless In Seattle - The Musical, will be directed by Lonny Price, with Eric Stern as musical director, in its premiere at The Pasadena Playhouse in June, 2013. The Pasadena Playhouse (Sheldon Epps, Artistic Director and Charles Dillingham, Interim Executive Director) and Lythgoe Family Productions, announced today casting and the creative team for A SNOW WHITE CHRISTMAS, featuring Ariana Grande (Nickelodeon's "Victorious") as "Snow White," an on-screen appearance by Neil Patrick Harris as "The Magic Mirror" and Charlene Tilton ("Dallas") as "The Wicked Queen." This inaugural "Panto at The Playhouse" production of A SNOW WHITE CHRISTMAS will be directed by Bonnie Lythgoe ("So You Think You Can Dance") with choreography by Spencer Liff (Emmy nominee "So You Think You Can Dance") and musical direction by Michael Orland ("American Idol"). Performances will begin December 13 through December 23, with a gala press opening night on Wednesday, December 12, 2012, at 7:00 p.m. at The Pasadena Playhouse.

According to Deadline.com, Ben Toth and Sam Forman have signed on to write the music and lyrics for the Broadway-bound SLEEPLESS IN SEATTLE Musical. Previously announced Lonny Price will direct the show, which is set to have its world premiere at The Pasadena Playhouse (Sheldon Epps, Artistic Director and Charles Dillingham, Interim Executive Director) in June, 2013.

Lonny Price has been named the director of Sleepless In Seattle - The Musical, it was announced today by producer David Shor.

Gala Chair Sheila Grether-Marion and The Playhouse Board of Directors will be spearheading this gala event which will sparkle with cocktails, a seated dinner catered by The Kitchen For Exploring Foods, dancing and live entertainment provided by Wayne Foster.
