The Pasadena Playhouse Announces Executive Director Search

The Pasadena Playhouse (Sheldon Epps, Artistic Director and Charles Dillingham, Interim Executive Director) announced today that it will commence its national search for a new Executive Director. Arts Consulting Group (ACG) President, Bruce D. Thibodeau and The Playhouse's Search Committee, led by Playhouse board members Stephen Bennett and Brad King will guide the process.
"We feel there is no better time to attract a high-caliber, high-energy, and uniquely gifted individual as Executive Director for The Playhouse," said Brad King, Playhouse Board and Search Committee member. "The organization is now poised to leverage its resources with a goal to elevate The Playhouse to become one of the top regional theaters in the country. The organization, its Search Committee and its Board of Directors is committed to finding the best candidate to lead The Playhouse into the future."The Pasadena Playhouse had previously announced on February 14, 2012, that Charles Dillingham would serve as Interim Executive Director of the theatre during the transition period. Dillingham will also help to oversee the search with Mr. Thibodeau. Dillingham's services are being provided by ACG, where he is Vice President. Until he joined ACG in June of 2011 he had been managing director of Center Theatre Group in Los Angeles for twenty years.http://artsconsulting.com/opportunities/employment.htm.The Pasadena Playhouse was established in 1917 and was designated the State Theatre of California for bringing national and international renown to the state as a center for dramatic art in 1937.
