The Adrienne Arsht Center for the Performing Arts of Miami-Dade County (@arshtcenter) today announced plans for the 11th season of AileyCamp Miami, an award-winning free summer camp that uses dance as a vehicle for the personal development of hundreds of youth throughout Miami. To celebrate its continued success, the Arsht Center is rolling out a masterclass led by one of South Florida's most sought-after hip-hop teachers Tawanna Hall.

As a highlight of its 13th Anniversary Season, the Adrienne Arsht Center for the Performing Arts of Miami-Dade County has planned a spectacular evening for all arts and culture enthusiasts to enjoy. Hosted inside its beautiful Ziff Ballet Opera House on Saturday, April 6, the Arsht Center's 13TH ANNIVERSARY CONCERT: MIAMI FUSION will feature a star-studded show starring multi Grammy Award-winning sensation JUANES and Tony Award-winning Broadway legend, BRIAN STOKES MITCHELL.

August Wilson's hard-hitting 'Ma Rainey's Black Bottom' opened September 11 and continues through October 16, 2016, at the Center Theatre Group/ Mark Taper Forum. Alvin Ailey American Dance Theater, beloved as one of the world's most popular dance companies, will return to Lincoln Center for the Performing Arts for a two-week 15-performance engagement at the David H. Koch Theater June 8th - 19th, 2016. Today, Artistic Director Robert Battle announced repertory for the season, including the world premieres of Deep by acclaimed Italian choreographer Mauro Bigonzetti and Untitled America: Second Movement, the second work in a three-part suite by MacArthur 'Genius' Kyle Abraham. The season also includes new productions of Vespers, Ulysses Dove's breathtaking ballet for six women, and The Hunt, Robert Battle's thrilling work for six men, as part of over a dozen works featured on five different programs.
