Juanes And Brian Stokes Mitchell Star In Arsht Center's 13th Anniversary Concert

As a highlight of its 13th Anniversary Season, the Adrienne Arsht Center for the Performing Arts of Miami-Dade County has planned a spectacular evening for all arts and culture enthusiasts to enjoy. Hosted inside its beautiful Ziff Ballet Opera House on Saturday, April 6, the Arsht Center's 13TH ANNIVERSARY CONCERT: MIAMI FUSION will feature a star-studded show starring multi Grammy Award-winning sensation JUANES and Tony Award-winning Broadway legend, Brian Stokes Mitchell. Tickets to the one-night-only concert are $13* in honor of the Center's current anniversary season. In addition, a very limited number of VIP Box Concert tickets will be available for $120* which also include access to the after-party (details below). All tickets will be available to the general public on March 1 at noon.

Immediately following the concert, guests are invited to continue the festivities at PARTY ON THE PLAZA, a joyous and vibrant after-party celebrating Miami's Caribbean carnival traditions on the Center's Thomson Plaza for the Arts. Chaired by South Florida philanthropists Marlon and Carla Hill, the event will feature free cocktails, desserts, DJs and live music in front of the Center's iconic Carnival Tower. Tickets are $75* which also includes access to the Center's 13th Anniversary Concert. Proceeds from the after-party support the Center's Miami Diaspora Fund, which funds the commissioning and presenting of multicultural artists who live in Miami or who share Miami's New American view of the world.

For Gala sponsors and those interested in the full Gala experience, the evening will include opportunities to celebrate the occasion with fellow supporters, philanthropists and community leaders beginning with a pre-show cocktail reception at 5:30 p.m.; premium seating for the concert in the Ziff Ballet Opera House at 7 p.m.; and seated dinner on the Ziff Ballet Opera House stage at 8:30 p.m. crafted by James Beard Award finalist Brad Kilgore of BRAVA! By Brad Kilgore. Fundraising proceeds from the Gala support the Arsht Center's mission-driven Arts Education and Community Engagement Programs.

As previously announced, the Arsht Center's 13th Annual Gala will honor Arnold W. Donald, Chief Executive Officer of Carnival Corporation & PLC. The Gala's Honorary Chair is Adrienne Arsht, the Center's name benefactor. Gala Chairs are Tony & Conchi Argiz; and Ira D. & Carole Hall.

Gala Co-Chairs include Rob & Ana Barlick, Nancy & Jon Batchelor, Trish & Dan Bell, Lee E. Caplin & Gita Karasik, Carnival Foundation, Leila & David Centner, Mike & Margaret Eidson, Kimberly Green, Andrea Guerreri, Jeff Haines, Eric G. & Donna Johnson, Jim Kaufman, David & Marian Rocker, Aileen Ugalde & Dean Colson, and Lucille Zanghi & James Dow.
