Carmen M. Herlihy appeared in Top Girls (2018) at the Huntington. Her theatre credits that include Recent Alien Abductions (Humana Festival of New American Plays), Kingdom Come (Roundabout Theatre Company), The Tomb of King Tot and Five Genocides (Clubbed Thumb), Doctor Faustus (Classic Stage Company), Bachelorette (Second Stage Theater), Buffalo Gal (Primary Stages), and Crooked (Women’s Project; Lucille Lortel Award nomination for Outstanding Lead Actress). Her tv and film credits include “Madam Secretary,” “The Unusuals,” “Cold Case,” “Six Degrees,” The Trouble with Cali, The Switch, The Rebound, Burn After Reading, Morning Glory, Extremely Loud and Incredibly Close, and My First Kiss and the People Involved. She is a graduate of New York University Tisch School of the Arts, and studied at Experimental Theater Wing Amsterdam, The Royal Academy of Dramatic Arts in London, and The Public Theater Shakespeare Lab.

The 2015 Susan Smith Blackburn Prize has been awarded to Tena Stivicic for her play 3 Winters. Today, March 2, New York's Playwrights Horizons hosted a celebration of the winner and finalists of the Susan Smith Blackburn Prize, marking the 37th Anniversary of the international prize, which is based in Houston, New York and London. The Susan Smith Blackburn Prize is the oldest and largest prize awarded to women playwrights.
