On Saturday, April 30, the Visual Arts Center of New Jersey held its largest fundraising event of the year at Canoe Brook Country Club in Summit. Art & Soul, VACNJ's first in-person gala since 2019, raised a record-breaking $296,000 to support the Art Center's powerful arts programming.

National Dance Institute, the nonprofit arts education organization founded by legendary New York City Ballet principal dancer Jacques d’Amboise, will host its 46th Annual Gala in celebration of NDI’s extraordinary work in bringing dance, music, and arts education to children in New York City public schools, across the United States, and around the world.

A celebration of the HeartShare Family, the event drew more than 400 HeartShare supporters, Board Members, corporate sponsors, partners, celebrities and staffers to a red-carpet affair with all the glitz and glamour of a Hollywood premiere beneath HeartShare's name in lights on the Ziegfeld's iconic marquee.

The event, which will take place in Summit, NJ, is the Art Center’s largest fundraiser of the year, featuring live music by Gatsby Now, cocktails, and a seated dinner. The main attraction of the evening is the Art Center’s signature silent and live auctions of contemporary art highlighted by the return of celebrity auctioneer CK Swett. This year will mark the return to an in-person celebration for the first time since 2019.

Lecy Goranson will host a star-studded gala, celebrating this year's achievements of the Obie-Award winning theater ensemble, Elevator Repair Service. Under the direction of founding Artistic Director John Collins, ERS has been making original theater for 27 years. They have achieved national and international recognition with their extensive body of work, in particular the award-winning Gatz, a verbatim staging of The Great Gatsby, which enjoyed four engagements this season, from Abu Dhabi to Perth to New York City. The annual event, which is NDI's largest fundraising event of the year, annually raises $1.5 million with all proceeds benefitting NDI's award-winning arts education programs.

On Saturday, April 6, the Visual Arts Center of New Jersey held its largest fundraising event of the year at Canoe Brook Country Club in Summit. Pop! Goes the Gala was on trend with a pop-art theme and raised more than $220,000 to support the Art Center's innovative programs, including community outreach and scholarships for at-risk youths and under-served families.

On Tuesday, October 30, Teens for Food Justice(TFFJ) held its annual gala, "Feast 2018 with Chef David Laris," an immersive dinner theatre experience honoring international superstars Emilio and GloriaEstefan, model and actress Karolina Kurkovaand her husband Archie Drury at Tribeca Rooftop. The event, attended by over 250 guests, supports TFFJ's mission to galvanize a youth-led movement to eradicate food insecurity in one generation.

On May 14th, 2018, actor and comedian Jon Glaser (Late Night with Conan O'Brien, truTV's Jon Glaser Loves Gear) will host a star-studded gala, celebrating the Obie-Award winning theater ensemble, Elevator Repair Service. Under the direction of founding Artistic Director John Collins, Elevator Repair Service is known for creating original works of theater with an ongoing ensemble of actors and designers. Gatz, their verbatim staging of "The Great Gatsby," was called "the most remarkable achievement in theater of this decade" by The New York Times.

On Saturday, March 3, the Visual Arts Center of New Jersey held its largest fundraising event of the year, the annual spring gala "Graffiti & Glam." The sold-out event, held at the Art Center in Summit, raised funds to support the Art Center's main programs, including community outreach projects and scholarships. The evening featured live music, a seated dinner, signature cocktails sponsored by Absolut, and both silent and live auctions.

In addition to producing great theatre works, Primary Stages produced one of this season's most exciting Galas. The 2017 event, celebrating Artistic Honorees Lynn Ahrens & Stephen Flaherty, Producer Honorees Janet B. Rosen & Marvin Rosen, and Corporate Honorees Jose Mendez and Katie Graziano, was a glamorous and talent-filled evening at Tribeca 360 with a full view of lower Manhattan as a backdrop to the festivities.

PS122's 2015 Spring Gala celebrates homecomings by honoring actor and dancer Claire Danes, whose history with PS122 includes her 1985 performance debut at the age of six along with critically acclaimed dance pieces in 2005 and 2007. In addition, New York City Council Member Majority Leader Jimmy Van Bramer will receive the Shining Star Award for his unwavering dedication to New York City arts and culture.
