McNeill Art Group Launches Summer Exhibition

McNeill Art Group will launch a summer exhibition space in Southampton at the Hill Street Gallery. Join us on Saturday June 21st, from 5-8 for the opening reception of Stained with Sweet. The exhibition will feature oil paintings by Perry Burns, neon sculpture and photography by Tapp Francke, abstract and figurative paintings, concrete sculpture and design by Jeff Muhs and textured colored salt paintings by Bettina Werner. The works in the exhibition all embody an inherent beauty, delivering a taste of the sublime pleasure we feel when surrounded with artistry and elegance.

With a new installation organized for acclaimed Chelsea gallery Lyons Wier curator McNeill explores the work of eight East End (Long Island) based artists, Jack Ceglic, Tom Dash, Tapp Francke, Julia Greffenius, Nika Nesgoda, Darius Yektai, Gavin Zeigler and, of course, Jeff Muhs that share an intense investigation of personal identities. The inaugural Hamptons Design & Trade Show House which benefits The Cystic Fibrosis Foundation bowed on Sunday, August 11. The show house, which features the work of over 20 designers, artists and local businesses, is the product of a unique and talented group of designers and artist from New York City to Montauk presented by ISC Design Concepts led by designer Scott Benjamin Tucker, The Hamptons Design & Trade Host Committee and Storm Motors. Art Southampton's Nick Korniloff and Pamela Cohen, with Beth McNeill, The McNeill Group and her husband artist Jeff Muhs co-hosted an elegant Summer Soiree to kickoff the upcoming Art Southampton, presented by Art Miami, the premier international contemporary and modern art fair and marketplace for acquiring the finest works of art available in the Hamptons. The by-invitation-only event for young collectors and Art Southampton Host Committee members was held at the Muhs' sprawling Shinnecock Hills aerie in their beautifully landscaped sculpture garden and in their art filled home on July 5.
