Art Miami Announces Exhibitor List For 30th Anniversary Edition

Art Miami (http://www.artmiami.com), returning for its 30th edition on December 3 a?" 8, 2019, has announced its 2019 exhibitor list. Recognized as one of the preeminent international modern and contemporary art fairs, Art Miami will showcase an array of iconic and important art works, dynamic projects and special installations from more than 170 international galleries from nearly 22 countries representing 69 cities.

The Pompano Beach Cultural Center is proud to present Super Natural Humanoids, an interactive installation of larger-than-life marionettes, which resemble older adults. Using levers and pulleys, guests will 'activate' these handcrafted works of art, encouraging a dialogue about how society can create better connections with our aging population. Created by artists Aurora Molina and Julian Pardo, this exhibition will be on view in the Pompano Beach Cultural Center Art Gallery from July 12, 2019 through October 4, 2019, with an opening reception July 12 from 7-9 pm. The second edition of Art Wynwood, the Wynwood Art District's highly anticipated international contemporary art fair hosted by Art Miami LLC, closed its doors Monday, Feb. 18, following sales by more than 90 percent of participating galleries and more than 27,500 visitors - an increase of more than 4,000 from last year's inaugural fair. Once again the five-day fair was held during President's Day Weekend coinciding with the Yacht & Brokerage Show. Many of the 70-plus exhibitors also notEd Strong leads and anticipated follow up sales with serious collectors in the days following the fair. Scroll down for photos from the weekend!
