Habitat for Humanity New York City (Habitat NYC), a major builder, preserver and advocate for affordable homeownership throughout the five boroughs, hosted Broadway stars, producers and writers for the second Broadway Builds event on Monday, October 1st. More than 25 notable names from Broadway volunteered to revitalize the Grand Street Settlement BEST Naturally Occurring Retirement Community (NORC) on the Lower East Side.

Mary Broaden, CAMBA Communications ManagerBrooklyn-based nonprofit organization CAMBA showcased an extensive collection of sculptures from Zimbabwe South Africa and honored  their dedicated volunteers and supporters as part of their 40th anniversary celebration -  at a four-day exhibition and public sale at their Prospect Heights-Lefferts Gardens-based Shona Gallery on April 6-9 2017. 

Anthony Collins' 100 Days of Inspiration: for Those Who Have Encountered the Storms of Life is aimed at readers who are at a place in their lives where a little guidance could make a lot of difference. A forgotten play by Sarah Bernhardt, The Confession, will be given its United States premiere by the Xoregos Performing Company at Wings Theatre in an eleven performance two week run between April 12-21, 2007.
