After a sell-out season of A Midsummer Night’s Dream in 2021, The Australian Shakespeare Company is bringing back Melbourne’s favourite comical characters in PETER QUINCE PRESENTS: The Athenian Players in “A MIDSUMMER MECHANICAL’S DREAM.”

The organizers behind Australia's largest disability-specific film festival, the Focus on Ability Short Film Festival, held their official U.S. launch of Focus on Ability USA March 7th at the Garry Marshall Theatre in Los Angeles this weekend. The Los Angeles Drama Critics Circle announced the recipients of its 48th annual awards for distinguished achievement in theatre tonight, Monday, March 20, at the Colony Theatre in Burbank.

The Los Angeles Drama Critics Circle is proud to announce a new special award to be presented at its upcoming awards ceremony on March 20: The Gordon Davidson Award for distinguished contribution to the Los Angeles theatrical community. The award is sponsored by the Center Theatre Group, where Gordon Davidson served as the founding Artistic Director from 1967 to 2005, and will be presented this year to Pro99.

The Los Angeles Drama Critics Circle (LADCC) has announced its nominations and special awards for excellence in Los Angeles, Orange County and Ventura County theatre for the year 2016 (Dec. 1, 2015 - Nov. 30, 2016).

We had a chance to chat with both the prolifically talented (directing and acting) Shepperd and the charismatic, triple-threat Andrew Bongiorno who plays the titular BOY Peter Allen.

Once in a great while an extraordinary performer comes along, one that not only moves us, but also affects meteoric changes within our culture. Peter Allen, born Peter Woolnough in 1944 in Tenterfield, New South Wales, Australia and who died young in 1992, was one such mega-talented singer/dancer/musical composer, who appealed to a wide audience.Not at first, mind you; it took a few years in the 60s for him to realize his bisexuality and to understand who he was.

On Saturday, May 18 and Sunday, May 19, GMC TV, America's favorite channel for uplifting entertainment, will present the funny, lighthearted and poignant original GMC World Premiere Movie Finding Normal (#FindingNormal), a 'fish-out-of-water' romantic comedy starring Candace Cameron Bure ('Full House,' The Heart of Christmas), Lou Beatty Jr. ('Grey's Anatomy,' 'NCIS,' 'Betty White's Off Their Rockers'), Andrew Bongiorno ('Satisfaction,' 'Rush'), Mark Irvingsen ('True Justice') and Trevor St. John ('One Life to Live,' 'The Client List'). Brian Herzlinger (Christmas Angel, My Date with Drew) directs from a screenplay written by Cary Solomon and Chuck Konzelman. Finding Normal was filmed in Columbia, Louisiana.
