Bookworks and the Albuquerque Public Library Foundation are pleased to announce their next Word with Writers literary fundraiser, featuring novelist Louise Erdrich, on March 12th at the KiMo Theater.

Bookworks, the City of Albuquerque Cultural Services, and WordCraft Circle present Joy Harjo, United States Poet Laureate, on December 7 at the KiMo Theater. The event will be free and open to the public, but requires registration. The reading starts at 8 pm, with a signing to follow.

Saturday, November 26, local bookstores around the country will be celebrating Small Business Saturday and Indies First, a national celebration of shopping at small businesses and supporting independent stores and local authors.
