Mannheim Steamroller Christmas

Mannheim Steamroller's distinctive sound decks Dreyfoos Hall with keyboards and percussion, plus guitar, lute, reed, horn, trumpet and a sizeable string section. Grammy Award winner Chip Davis' iconic ensemble has been unwrapping high-octane holiday renditions since 1984, and video clips and other festive fun amplify this exhilarating Christmas tradition.

Named after a former piano store in St. George, Utah, ThePianoGuys includes just one pianist, Jon Schmidt, and Steven Sharp Nelson on cello. What started as an advertising stint by Piano Guys store owner Paul Anderson became a YouTube smash, and now the classical-meets-pop duo are keyed up for the holidays.

Herb Alpert & Lani Hall
Grammy Award winners Herb Alpert, the trumpet titan behind Herb Alpert & The Tijuana Brass, and Lani Hall, the former lead singer of Sergio Mendes' group Brasil '66, unite in a jazz fusion of festive fare. Last year Alpert released The Christmas Wish, his first holiday album in half a century.

Jake Ehrenreich with the Roger Kellaway Trio
In a jazz tribute to Jewish songwriters, Jake Ehrenreich, creator of A Jew Grows in Brooklyn, kicks back with The Roger Kellaway Trio to perform holiday favorites written by Jewish composers such as Let It Snow, Silver Bells and I'll Be Home for Christmas. Based on Ehrenreich's recent CD, the festive performance also features behind-the-scenes stories.
