Delray Beach Playhouse Presents MOON RIVER - The Songs Of Johnny Mercer

Don't miss internationally-acclaimed cabaret and concert singer, John Lariviere, as he presents MOON RIVER, the perfect tribute to the musical genius of prolific composer and lyricist Johnny Mercer!

With talented jazz pianist, Phil Hinton, at his side, the 75-minute show includes over 20 hit songs such as "Blues in the Night," "Autumn Leaves," "That Old Black Magic," "Skylark," "Satin Doll," "Days of Wine and Roses," and of course "Moon River."

John Lariviere, currently headlines throughout Florida, specializing in music from Broadway, Jazz and the Great American Songbook. In July of 2019 he returned for his fourth year to the acclaimed Florida Cabaret Festival in Venice, FL with his show, THE SINATRA SONGBOOK.

In addition to his cabaret work, John toured the U.S. performing regional before settling in South Florida, where he has appeared in more than 40 local theatrical productions at theatres such as the Maltz and the Wick. He has sung live on TV on The Suncoast View (Channel 7 - ABC) and on the Live with Iris Acker show, and on the radio on KDW (97.5FM) and WLRN (91.3FM). You can also find him as Theodore in the 2015 independent, horror film spoof Imaginary Movie, and as Robert in the 2016 DMOC web-series, King of the Streets.
