The New World is an original play and cabaret written and directed by Nadia Hovan, devised and performed by an ensemble of 20 teen performers from the Theatre Collingwood Teen Conservatory. The production combines storytelling, music, dance, and drama to explore a futuristic society shaped by artificial intelligence and the youth-led resistance fighting to reclaim humanity. The creative team includes Emma Vickrey as Assistant Musical Director and Layla Locke as Choreographer. A special rehearsal performance for Chartwell Balmoral residents takes place on May 17, 2026, with public performances running May 22–24 at 7:00 PM.
