Odyssea's Family Tree is a contemporary pole dance and aerial performance following Odyssea Siren on a quest to discover the roots of misfortune in their life by exploring a family album of letters written by relatives across generations. The cast of eight, which includes past and current Pole Sport Organization title winners, performs an hour-long show blending contemporary dance with death-defying aerial stunts within a Southern Gothic aesthetic of candles and evocative music. The story takes audiences through accounts of childhood abuse, heartbreak, and love in an exploration of generational trauma. The production is directed by Max Pinsky and sponsored by Dandelion Fitness, presented by Project no.19 Performance Company at the Orlando International Fringe Festival.
