The Burt Reynolds Institute for Film and Theatre Presents Roy Michaels Tonight, 7/7
The Burt Reynolds Institute for Film and Theatre recently announced that dynamic performer, Roy Michaels, will perform in a benefit concert this evening, July 7th, at 7:30 p.m.
Michaels, who became lead singer of the popular group The Brooklyn Bridge after the death of Johnny Maestro, has been performing around the world for over thirty years. By age sixteen Roy was already working the nightclub scene. In 1977 he moved to Europe where he recorded his hit single, All Alone Am I. Roy returned to South Florida in 2009 and began focusing his attention on the music of our lives… songs that bring back memories and put a smile on our faces. He became the lead vocalist for the Brooklyn Bridge, the legendary band from the sixties and seventies, in 2010 and is still touring with the band today.
The July 7th concert will include songs by Neil Diamond, Neil Sedaka, Roy Orboson, Elvis, The Righteous Brothers, The Brooklyn Bridge and many other well- known artists. Roy’s vocal skills allow for near perfect vocalization of the songs as performed by the original artists. He is known for closing his concerts with a tear inducing salute to America, while singing the hit Lee Greenwood song, God Bless the USA.
Tickets are $15.00. Reservations can be made by calling Donna Carbone at 561 385-1584 or emailing: briftfinancedirector@comcast.net.
Call NOW! Tickets for this “trip back in time” will sell out fast and seating is limited.
The Burt Reynolds Institute is located at 100 North U.S. Highway One, Jupiter, Florida at the corner of U.S. Highway One and Indiantown Road – directly across from the Chili’s Restaurant.
