Orlando's Mid Century Home Tour Returns Saturday 2/18

The Retro Modern Home Tour features six Orlando homes, plus an after party, on Saturday February 18, 2017.

Six mid-century modern to retro homes in Orlando will be featured, followed by an after party at East End Market (3201 Corrine Drive, Orlando 32803). Visitors will see inside unique private residences before adjourning to a catered party with light bites by La Femme Du Fromage, Gideon's Bakehouse and others, plus a complimentary whiskey and bourbon tasting. Cash bar.

The home tour takes place in the Audubon Park Garden District, off Corrine Drive, from 1 to 5 p.m. Check in will take place at 1602 East Winter Park Road, Orlando, FL 32803. Immediately after the tour ends, the after party takes place inside East End Market, from 5 to 7:30 p.m.

To deepen the immersion in mid-century design, there's an informal talk by Mike Johnson, whose first home was a mid century model in Audubon Park and who is now a local expert on mid-century modern, during the VIP champagne reception.

The Retro Modern Home Tour is a fundraiser for the Audubon Park Garden District Main Street program and supports its mission to create an economically, environmentally and socially sustainable ecodistrict in Central Florida.
