Manatee Players Announce Major Gifts Toward Completion of the Manatee Performing Arts Center
The Manatee Players announced on March 20 a gift of $250,000 from the Kiwanis Club of Bradenton and over $1,500,000 of other financing in place thanks to the Manatee Community Foundation.
This will enable construction on the new Manatee Performing Arts Center to shift into full gear with a projected March 2013 opening. The new Manatee Performing Arts Center will serve as a community meeting facility as well as rental areas for private events, conferences and other public events. The Center will include a main auditorium which will seat 380 and a studio theater which will seat approximately 100.
The fully equipped lobby will be available as well for groups up to 300 people. Janene Witham was also introduced as the new Executive Director of the Manatee Players by Board President Anthony Pizzo, MD.
